DESCRIPTION:Learn how to recognize workplace violence\, understand your rig
 hts and protections\, and navigate risk assessments and safety plans to he
 lp keep schools safe.\n\nEvery teacher deserves a safe and healthy workpla
 ce. Understanding what constitutes workplace violence\, how risks are iden
 tified\, and what protections are in place is an important part of keeping
  ourselves and our colleagues safe.\n\nIn this workshop\, we'll explore th
 e different forms of workplace violence\, clarify key terms and definition
 s\, and examine the processes schools use to assess risks and develop safe
 ty plans. We'll also discuss the balance between privacy and workers' righ
 t to know about potential risks in their workplace.\n\nThrough practical e
 xamples and discussion\, teachers will build their understanding of their 
 rights\, their employer's responsibilities\, and the steps they can take w
